There’s a lot of material to absorb for this class. I started in the Acrobatiq material but found it dry so I abandoned that and watched the Marathon cohorts (available in the course search section). Read some reddit posts and found a lot of people used some videos put out by an economist named Jacob Clifford. He offers Ultimate Review Packets for both micro and macro at $12/each or $19 for both so I went ahead and bought both since my next class is macro.
His videos were engaging and detailed and only about 30 minutes each. I watched several then took the PA. Passed but still wasn’t comfortable taking the OA (probably skittish from all the “I failed the micro OA” posts on reddit. I studied the coaching report and spent another day or so rewatching his videos.
The packet includes summary videos where he flies through the topics so I used those to refresh before I took the OA. I didn’t make use of his worksheets or practice tests. At the end of the 4th day, my brain was starting to turn to econo-mush and I realized I wasn’t going to absorb any more material than I already had so I scheduled and took the OA. I was pleased to learn that I passed with a comfortable margin.
