I've pretty much been a technology geek my entire life. I was the highwater jeans wearing kid in high school that skipped lunch in favor of going to the computer science lab. Having long since embraced my inner geek, I've actively worked in the ever-changing technology industry for nearly 20 years.
I'm also a big advocate of using technology on a personal level. I'm currently working on a proof of concept project using home automation to combine technology with ease of use to create convenience and comfort.
Still a geek ... but I dress nicer now.

Responsible for the overall day-to-day operational management of the Cloud Services environment, including monitoring, problem management, security management, configuration/change management, and capacity planning. Develop processes to manage operations and adherence to technical standards, guide cloud architecture development, provide staff collaboration and leadership.
Coordinate PBX/VoIP product deployment including system design, procurement, configuration, implementation, and customer training on Digium Switchvox PBX systems.
Manage web hosting division and customer facing hosting platforms. Administer company's UNIX based operating systems, including email servers (qmail/postfix), DNS servers, and internal corporate-use systems.

Assisted customers in the purchase of computer equipment and related hardware. Provided in-store logistics including re-stocking, merchandising, and advertising placement.
Rated as Aviation Electronics Technician. Diagnosed, isolated, and repaired communication, navigation, radar, and electronic countermeasures systems on EA-6B (ICAP II) aircraft.
